Review: Florence + the Machine Drops New Singles: “Moderation” and “Haunted House”

    
     British indie rock band Florence + the Machine makes a fierce return with two brand new singles: “Moderation” and “Haunted House.” Lead vocalist Florence Welch pulls no punches in “Moderation,” a bold, upbeat song stating, “Want me to love you in moderation / Do I look moderate to you?”

     “Haunted House,” an eerily beautiful piano ballad, addresses Florence’s inner turmoil in lineswhere she compares her heart to a haunted house. As the chorus swells, Florence muses how
she’s “not free at all.”
